Our Team
Lead Pastors
Pastor Don and Cathy have served Belton Assembly as Lead Pastors for 22 years.
Pastor Don Butterfield graduated from Central Bible College, Springfield MO. in 1980 and became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God while apart of the Ohio District in 1990.
He served as a youth pastor in Louisville, Kentucky and at Belton Assembly for several years before returning to Belton a few years later as lead pastor.
He also served as pastor for the Assembly of God Home Missions Church in VanWert, Ohio. Pastor Don has a passion to reach the lost with a life changing word and a genuine move of the spirit.
He desires to equip the church for discipleship, and meet the physical and spiritual needs of people by demonstrating the love of God.
He is married to his love, Cathy and enjoys spending time with their children: Matthew, Nathan, Joel, and their wives and kids.
Youth Pastors
Pastor Joseph and Sarah Wright have been serving as Youth Pastors at Belton Assembly of God since June 2016.
Joseph also served as the youth and worship pastor at Life Connections Church in Joplin, Mo for over 2 years.
Joseph and Sarah have one son: Wyatt.
Children’s Pastors
Pastor Matt and Hannah Butterfield have been serving as Kid’s Pastor since August 2016.
Matt and Hannah have been a part of Belton Assembly of God their whole lives and grew up in the church. They wanted to give back to the community by serving in the church they grew up in.
Matt and Hannah have 3 sons: Ryker, Easton, and Hudson.
Worship Pastors
Adam and Shea Twenter have been serving at Belton Assembly of God as Worship Pastors since, August 2018.
Before serving as Worship Pastors they have been serving as part of the worship team since May, 2009.
Adam and Shea have 3 sons: Kahne, Graham, and Bodie.

& Discipleship
Dave and Ruth Christian have just joined our team starting in February 2021.
